1) Padstack 내부에서 Thermal 정의

Padstack 에서 바로 Thermal Pad를 정의할 수 있음.
→ 패드 자체에 기본 thermal 형태를 넣는 방식.

2) Plane Class에서 Thermal 정의

여러 Plane Layer에 공통으로 적용되는 Thermal 설정.

Plane Classes & Parameters → Thermal Definition 탭에서 설정

Via / Through-pin / SMD pad 각각에 대해 thermal 설정 가능

상단 스위치 “Use thermal definition from padstack” 여부에 따라 동작이 달라짐:

✔ 체크된 경우

Padstack(방법 #1)에 Thermal이 있으면 그걸 사용

Padstack에 Thermal이 없으면 Plane Class Thermal 설정을 사용

✔ 체크 해제된 경우

Padstack 설정 무시

Plane Class Thermal 설정만 사용

※ 단, Plane Shape의 Net과 Pin Net이 같을 때만 적용됨

3) 개별 Pin Thermal Override (가장 높은 우선순위)

특정 핀 하나에만 Thermal 조건을 덮어씌울 수 있음.

Pin 선택 → Properties → Pin Thermal Override

이 설정이 존재하면 Padstack Thermal + Plane Class Thermal 모두 무시하고 이 설정 우선 적용

지정된 clearance 값은 해당 layer의 모든 plane shape에 적용됩니다.
